THE search is continuing for wanted man Wesley Glover.
Glover, 21, of Reid Park, Haxby, has breached the terms of his prison release licence meaning he must return to custody.
Officers believe that Glover is still in the York area and have been making extensive inquiries in an effort to locate him.
Insp Rob Thorpe, of York police, said: “If Wesley Glover thinks we are going to take the weekend off looking for him, he can think again.
“He must be returned to prison and unless he wants to spend this weekend looking over his shoulder, I suggest he hands himself in.
“Officers will continue knocking on doors until they find Glover and I am urging the public to do their bit and let us know if they see him or have any idea where he is.”
Anyone who can help officers to find Glover is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111.
