RESIDENTS and businesses in Thirsk are warned to watch out for fake banknotes.
North Yorkshire Police said a number of counterfeit £10 and £20 notes had been spotted in the town.
Local officers have been distributing UV pens and leaflets to shops and businesses to help them notice fake cash.
