THE search is ongoing for a man from Copmanthorpe who went missing on his way to work.
William Notley, 56, also known as Bill, left home on Saturday morning to go to work at Tockwith but failed to turn up and his employer raised the alarm, said North Yorkshire Police.
He was last seen by his wife shortly after 8am as he drove off in a blue Vauxhall Vectra and extensive inquiries had revealed his car was spotted travelling into the Humberside area on Saturday.
Mr Notley is white, slim and 5ft 6ins tall. He has a naturally tanned complexion, brown eyes and light brown hair which is thinning and balding.
