MOTORISTS are advised to expect delays on a major route between York and Harrogate, after a two-vehicle collision.
The crash happened at about 1.30pm and involved two cars on the A59 Boroughbridge Road, just after the junction with the outer ringroad.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said nobody was thought to have been injured in the crash, and an ambulance was called off before it arrived. However, traffic has started to build up in the area.
