TWO 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a York shop.
Two boys with their faces covered demanded cash from staff at the Premier Stop Gap in Beckfield Lane at about 7.05pm yesterday.
However, the staff refused to hand over any money and they made off on foot, North Yorkshire Police said.
Officers were alerted to the scene and arrested one suspect nearby at 7.25pm. The second suspect was arrested at 9.40pm.
Following questioning in custody, they were released on police bail to allow for further investigation.
