JUNIORS at York Cricket Club are aiming to emulate their 2012 success as the 2013 season swings into action.
The club recently held their awards presentations for their talented under-13 and U15s squads.
The U13s secured an unprecedented treble with the York & District league championship, cup and six-a-side trophy. The U15s won a double, scooping the league championship and cup for a third consecutive season.
The club’s juniors have started outdoor cricket training at York Sports Club, Clifton Park, in Shipton Road.
The weekly sessions are held from 6.30pm to 8pm – Wednesdays for the under-9 and U11 age groups, with Fridays set aside for the U13 and U15 age groups.
Anyone interested in joining should phone junior co-ordinator Mark Burn on 01904 701096.
