Katie Price has slammed 'Britain's Got Talent' hopeful Francine Lewis.

The former glamour model was the subject of one of the auditionee's impressions on last weekend's show, and while Katie thinks she is "quite" good, she doesn't think she was perfect and advised the veteran performer - who has appeared on a string of TV shows in the past - to take a step back and give someone else a chance of winning.

She wrote in her column for The Sun newspaper: "Did anyone see Francine Lewis' impression of me on 'Britain's Got Talent'? Francine's been mean to me but she's talented, even though she hasn't quite captured Pricey to perfection - only Catherine Tate's managed that.

"What does annoy me is that 'BGT' is supposed to be about newcomers. Francine's been around so long she used to be on the 'Generation Game'. Fair play Francine, give the younger generation a chance."

Meanwhile, Russell Crowe has lent his support to another hopeful on the show, young comedian Jack Carroll - who suffers from Cerebral Palsy - after seeing clips of him on YouTube.

The 'Noah' actor tweeted: "Hey Jack, saw your segment from 'BGT', congratulations.

"As David Walliams said, every gag hit its mark, well done."
