POLICE are appealing for information to help an ongoing investigation into the assault of a child at the University of York.
The victim, a 12-year-old local boy, was kicked on the leg by a man and a woman during the incident at “Bunny Hill” in the grounds of the university at about 4.30pm on January 19, say police.
He suffered bruising, but did not require hospital treatment.
The suspects left the scene in a silver Ford Fiesta with a child.
There were a lot of people in the area at the time, throwing snowballs and sledging. Anyone who can help officers should police on 101.
