MIGHT I ask that dog walkers around York using Rawcliffe Meadows, the site behind Clifton Hospital from the Park&Ride to Clifton Ings, take their animal’s droppings off the site?
For far too long we found little bags of dog poo hanging off branches and bushes like so many unpleasant Christmas baubles.
This site is not owned by the council, nor does it have wardens clearing up after idle litterers. It has a few volunteers looking after the ecological management of the site.
If there aren’t any signs to explain this, thank the vandals and regular extreme flooding that means they need replacing regularly.
Be a responsible dog owner and don’t hang it in the bushes.
