POP star Rihanna and her boyfriend Chris Brown could visit York this summer, it has been reported.
Rihanna, who was reported to have spent £700,000 on a limited-edition Mercedes for Brown’s 24th birthday recently, is set to visit the city in June during a break from her UK tour.
Gillian Cruddas, chief executive of Visit York said: “It’s great to see that York is on the ‘must-see’ list of two top international stars.
“Over 300,000 American visitors come to York each year to enjoy our rich history and heritage. Their visit has the opportunity to showcase York to their worldwide fanbase and help promote York on an international stage.”
