THIEVES have stolen three quad bikes from a farm in the Selby area.
The bikes, a red Honda 350, a green Kawasaki 350 and a red and grey Massey Ferguson, were taken overnight last Saturday from a farm in Balne.
A North Yorkshire Police Spokesman said both the Kawasaki and Massey Ferguson had pest control devices attached, and the combined value of the stolen bikes and equipment is about £15,000.
DC Lee Maeer, of Selby CID, said: “If you witnessed any suspicious activity in the Balne area around the time of the theft I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.
“I also need to speak to anyone who has seen the quad bikes or pest control equipment since they were stolen, or may have been offered them for sale, and ask that they get in touch.”
Anyone with information should phone Selby CID on 101, email lee.maeer@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
