REGARDING the letter of April 28 by Dr Mick Phythian, regarding dog dirt bags hanging in trees and thrown on to the side of paths at Rawcliffe Meadows, this leads one to think how irresponsible some dog owners are.
What care have they for the environment? Obviously very little.
The Clifton Backies nature reserve has become a dog walkers’ paradise, with dog dirt bags thrown everywhere. One dog owner even likes to accumulate his dirt bags in one small area – there were 34 at the last count.
Why not do the correct thing and take it home to bin, saving all those voluntary litter pickers the unpleasant task?
