'Friday Night Dinner' is to return for a third series.
Tom Rosenthal has revealed filming for the third season of the Channel 4 sitcom - which focuses on the regular dining experience of a Jewish family, who are played by Tom, Simon Bird, Tamsin Greig and Paul Ritter - will start in September, and the comedian is "really excited" about the forthcoming season.
Speaking at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2013 Awards in association with VO5 Extreme at the Sanderson Hotel in Central London last night, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We are doing another 'Friday Night Dinner' which is going to start filming in September after the Edinburgh Festival.
"It's not been completely confirmed yet but it's pretty much going to happen so I'm really exited about that.
"It's just such a great show, and it's great fun to film."
While Tom - who stars as Jonny Goodman in the series - admits he loves filming the show with Simon Bird, who plays his on-screen brother Adam Goodman, he is disappointed the married 'Inbetweeners' star can't go out "on the pull" with him.
He added: "Simon is a great guy but he's got a wife so I can hardly go on the pull with him!"
