Former 'X Factor' star Diana Vickers has landed her first TV acting role in a new comedy series.
The singer is to star in new six-part Sky Living show 'Give Out Girls' which will follow the endeavours and lives of a group of promotions girls.
Diana will be joined in the programme by 'Him & Her' star Kerry Howard and former 'EastEnders' actress Tracy-Ann Oberman and she can't wait to get started.
The 'Once' singer told The Sun newspaper: "I'm so excited about doing my first comedy show. It's different from any acting I've done before. The script is hilarious - I was laughing my head off just reading it. The rest of the cast are great, we all have really good chemistry.
"I can't wait to get in front of the camera and start filming."
Although 'Give Out Girls' will be her first television part, Diana did act on stage in a production of musical 'The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice' in late 2009 which ran on London's West End.
The petite beauty shot to fame on the 2008 series of 'The X Factor' and was mentored to the semi-final stage by Cheryl Cole.
