MOTORCYCLISTS in East Yorkshire can take part in safer riding workshops this summer to find out how good they are.
The BikeSafe workshops, run by Humberside Police, cost £35 and are limited to 14 riders per session, and include on-road assessments.
PC Glen Dennis, from the BikeSafe team, said: “Motorcycles make up about one per cent of the traffic on the road but have around 25 per cent of all crashes. We urge riders to think about having their skills assessed by booking themselves on a BikeSafe workshop.
“Having their skills assessed by an experienced rider will help the rider move on to further training which hopefully will make the riding experience safer.
“Our aim is to reduce the number of riders killed or injured on the regions road.”
