THIS little bunny has been taken in by a wildlife centre after it was found on a busy main road near Selby.
The black and white rabbit, believed to be a someone’s pet, was found basking in the sunshine on Barlby bypass roundabout, last Thursday.
Annette Pyrah, manager of Selby Wildlife, has taken the rabbit in until its owner comes forward, or until a new owner is found.
She said: “The rabbit is very friendly, used to dogs and loves sunbathing. How it didn’t get squished is a miracle.”
Anyone who recognises the rabbit should phone Annette on 07803 180720, 01757 290459, or email selbywildlife@aol.com
