AN INQUEST into the deaths of a multi-millionaire and his wife in a helicopter crash is to be held more than five years after the accident in which they died.
Paul Spencer, 43, and his wife Linda, 59, died in January 2008 when their Gazelle helicopter crashed into woodland at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate, where the couple, from Brighouse, West Yorkshire, had a chalet.
The inquest is due to be held in Harrogate from June 4 to 7. Mr Spencer’s flying instructor, Ian King, was jailed for six months in February for lying to get his client a pilot’s licence.
