AS advertised in The Press of July 4, there was a splendid Insect Festival 2013 in the Yorkshire Museum Gardens on Sunday, organised by the Royal Entomological Society (RES).
I was one of the many stallholders who were kept busy all day by families and individuals from far and wide, looking at the displays of insects dead and alive, large and small.
It was probably popular enough for the RES to come again, and with free entry for children and just a pound for adults it was extremely good value.
