Hello Readers,

This week has been quite exciting - we have all been out for tea and a big get together at The Pavillions in Harrogate.  It was really quite good.  The food was lovely.. I filled right up on the lamb kebabs - delicious!

It was the whole region meeting up and having a presentation by Rightmove and Zoopla.  They were really interesting (big rivalary between these 2 so a few cheeky comments here and there) but the main message was marketing.  Some great tips and pictures that have actually appeared on Rightmove. One was a picture of a bedroom but you could see the agent doing a John Travolta disco move in the mirror! Hilarious! Obviously not a Reeds Rains agent !!

A great night was had by all and it was good to meet up with everyone.  We didn't win anything in the raffle - gutted, or the awards ceremony. York was pipped to the post on conveyancing results. Julie was also robbed of the best mortgage advisor month to date.  Should have been you Jules!

The final message, (one that I didn't realise we were part of) was all about the Estate Agency Foundation.  It really touched me this one.  Its a charity for all Estate/Letting Agents to raise money to ensure everyone has a home.  Really good message that struck a chord, everyone does deserve a place to call "Home".  So I will be telling you all about our fundraising antics next week!
