Afternoon Readers,
CHARITY begins at home apparently.........but what if you haven't got a home???
This weeks blog takes a serious note as I have recently been introduced to the Estate Agents Foundation. I know what you are going to say...."yea yea Estate Agents lining their own pockets again" or I bet this a residential home for any Estate Agents over the age of 60! Well it isn't, what it is, is a really awesome charity and their strap line is "everyone deserves a home". Which is right isn't it? Doesn't everyone deserve the right to a place to keep warm, feel safe and lock the world outside?
This charity is for Estate Agents to do their bit against people becoming homeless and Reeds Rains back this charity 100%. Which personally I think is awesome, for once a bunch of Estate Agents who are not thinking of themselves. Even our Managing Director has managed to find time in his horrendous schedule to get off the preverbial and take part in Project Wiggo from Wiggington. The total raised is still not in as yet, but it is looking good. So huge congratulations to the guys for a job well done. You can find out more about the estate agents foundation by visiting their web page on www.estateagentsfoundation.co.uk
So what can we do here in York to raise awareness? Any ideas - what would make you part with those hard earned pennies?? Let me know by emailing: york@reedsrains.co.uk
Over and out...
Matt.
