A RECIPE book created in memory of a Yorkshire student who lost his battle with testicular cancer aged only 18 has been officially launched.

All The Best From Yorkshire is the second in a series of books created by staff and students at Selby College to pay tribute to Scott Robinson, a popular member of the hospitality and catering course.

It is hoped the book – a collection of recipes featuring people, places and produce of the county – will raise £10,000 for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Angie Hobden, a guidance and support tutor at the college, said: “Scott’s fellow classmates and tutors feel both proud and privileged to have been able to share just a small part in his life.

“We believe the books we have created are the perfect way to honour his passing, as catering is something he enjoyed doing the most.”
