TWO people were arrested after Class A drugs and cash were seized from a car near York on New Year’s Eve.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police’s road crime team stopped a white Mercedes on the eastbound side of the A64 at Bilbrough at about 6.05pm on Tuesday and found the drugs and money during a search of the car.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s, both from Huddersfield, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, and have both been released on bail as inquiries continue.
