POLICE are calling for witnesses to an accident where a cyclist was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken collar-bone in a crash with a car.
North Yorkshire Police have just released details of the incident, which took place at the junction of Danebury Drive and The Green, Acomb, at 12.30am on Saturday, October 26.
The injured man was 27 years old, but no details were available about the car.
PC Mike Cooper, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you were in The Green area of Acomb at the time of collision, I ask you to contact the police as soon as possible as you may information that could assist my inquiry.”
