Bus company Arriva Yorkshire is revising its fares, with some expected to rise.
The changes will come in from January 19. Some fares will rise by up to 10p, while others will remain frozen.
The all Yorkshire Zone multi-journey tickets, used throughout North Yorkshire, will be frozen at 2013 prices, including the day, week and four-weekly tickets.
The online ten per cent discount offer on all four-weekly tickets will continue at arrivabus.co.uk/yorkshire or via the Arriva Mobile Ticketing App.
Arriva Yorkshire regional managing director, Nigel Featham, said the company had applied the minimum increase possible for the coming year: “By capping any increase to the rate of inflation, we want to keep fares competitive and ensure travelling by bus remains attractive to passengers, for work, for family and for leisure.”
