TEAMS of budding young entrepreneurs from York and North Yorkshire will be joining schools and colleges from across the region taking part in an event designed to showcase their business talents at the White Rose Shopping Centre near Leeds.
Pupils from Fulford School, Queen Ethelburga’s College at Thorpe Underwood, Harrogate High and Tadcaster Grammar School are among those taking part on Sunday, pitching their wares and giving young people an opportunity to get a feel for what it’s like to be in business.
As well as producing or sourcing their product or service, the students have also developed business and marketing plans as part of the project, which is to set up and run their own company for a year.
