HOLDERS Rawcliffe and beaten finalists Wigginton Grasshoppers have been paired together in the last four of the York FA Under-19s Cup.
Rawcliffe triumphed 4-1 in the final last season, but Wigginton will be gunning for revenge in the semi-finals of this season’s F1 Racing-sponsored competition on Sunday, March 2.
The other semi-final sees York FA U19s League leaders Dringhouses travel to third-placed Haxby Town.
The semi-finals of the U11s, U13s and U15s competitions will also be held on March 2, with the U12s, U14s and U16s ties scheduled for Sunday, March 9.
The draw for the last four of the York FA U11s Junior Cup kept apart Rufforth United and Rufforth Gliders.
United’s reward for a penalty shoot-out win over York Cubs in the quarter-finals is a trip to Tadcaster Magnets Reds, while the Gliders travel to Rawcliffe Tigers after beating York RI Cosmos 3-0.
In the York FA Junior Minor (U13s) Cup, Brayton – 9-1 quarterfinal winners at Rufforth United in the last round – have been drawn away to Pocklington Town.
In the other last-four tie, York RI host Fulford.
Woodthorpe Wanderers are once again at home in the semi-finals of the York FA Intermediate (Senior) U15s Cup. They face Rufforth United.
Poppleton Tigers entertain Rawcliffe Tigers in the other tie.
The following weekend sees Heworth aiming to extend their run in the York FA Acaster Steel (U12s) Junior Cup. After a 5-0 home win over Fulford in the last eight, they host Stamford Bridge with a final spot up for grabs.
Poppleton Tigers are away to Pocklington Town Colts in the other last-four fixture.
York Cubs are bidding for repeat glory in the York FA Intermediate (Junior) U14s Cup, with the same set of players having lifted the U13s trophy last season.
A 13-0 thumping of Poppleton in the quarter-finals earned the Cubs a crack at hosts Brooklyn in the last four.
Copmanthorpe and Wilberfoss Mavericks – who both progressed after penalty shoot-outs in the last eight – clash in the other semi-final.
The last four of the York FA Senior Minor (U16s) Cup pitches together big-scoring Brooklyn and Pocklington Town Predators.
Brooklyn won 5-0 at home to Rawcliffe in the last round, while Pock trounced hosts Aviva 6-0.
Wigginton Grasshoppers host Tadcaster Magnets in the other tie.
