Villagers in an East Yorkshire community are hoping to repeat the sell-out successes of their four previous pantomimes when they perform a modern day take on the classic tale Robin Hood next week.
Robin Hood And The Merry Maids Of Shiptonthorpe, written and directed by Diane Heaven, features a cast of actors and support crew from Shiptonthorpe and surrounding villages.
The panto opens in Shiptonthorpe village hall, in Station Road, on Friday, at 7pm.
Performances will also take place the following day with matinee and evening shows on January 24 and 25. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children and are available from Janet Miller on 01430 872276.
