A FLOOD warning was today in place for the River Ouse at Naburn Lock.
The Environment Agency updated the warning at 3pm yesterday, saying the river level in York was 3.1 metres, but was expected to recede throughout the day.
The water at Naburn lock was slightly lower at 2.6 metres. Flood alerts were also in place on the River Nidd, the upper River Ouse, and the tidal River Ouse around Selby.
