Two car crash on A64
A TWO vehicle crash on the A64 has caused heavy tailbacks this morning.
The crash, between a silver Ford and a red Renault Megane, happened at about 8.10am in the right hand lane of the eastbound carriageway, just before the turnoff to the A19 at Fulford.
Traffic backed up to the turnoff to the A1036, before an ambulance rapid response unit and a police car arrived at the scene.
No details are yet available on any injuries in the crash, but two female motorists were seen out of the vehicles and talking to emergency services shortly after the incident.
