Broken level crossing causing traffic chaos
HAXBY level crossing has broken causing traffic problems and delays to bus services using the route.
First Bus services 1 and 13 are both suffering delays and diversions are in place.
The bus company said other routes are running late due to the build up of traffic.
Network Rail have confirmed that a signalling problem caused the failure earlier today. The level crossing barriers are now being operated manually and should not cause problems for road users while engineers work to fix the problem.
