Wilberforce Trust tenant Gordon Williams tries out the “spectacular” spectacles made by Huntington School pupil Emily Betteridge, aged 12, as part of a joint project between the school and the charity.
The trust provides support for people in the York area who have sight difficulties.
Emily was joined by fellow pupils Eleanor Clarke, Emma Hammell, Victoria Patchett, Ellie Ward, Rebecca Woods, Leah Pinder, Tom Atkinson, Jack Langtree and Eva Wilman.
The craft session was supported by tutor Deborah New, who runs several art, crafts and cookery sessions for Wilberforce.
