THERE’S a chance to have fun and help wildlife at a “marsh harriers and marshmallows” session, from 10am to 3pm on Sunday at the Oakhill Nature Reserve in Goole.
The event is a practical “get your hands dirty” day when visitors can learn how to cut willow and birch trees from places where they are not wanted.
They will be able to see marsh harriers flying over the reed bed, and toast marshmallows on the bonfire. Anyone aged aged 12 to 18 can take part, but booking is essential.
