A CHOIR is planning to celebrate its 20th birthday by staging a concert in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice at Boston Spa – helped by an actor from The Archers.
The Occasion Choir will sing Glory To God, music and words from Handel’s Messiah, at St Giles Church, Copmanthorpe, at 7.30pm on Saturday January 25.
Guest reader will be Brian Hewlett, who plays Neil Carter in BBC Radio 4’s soap drama, The Archers, while the organist will be Nicholas Page, the music director Yvonne Robert and the Tenor Andrew Wray.
Tickets costing £8, including Georgian refreshments, can be bought by phoning 01904 70I459 or 01904 706173.
