A group of families in York have joined together to put music at the heart of their New Year resolutions.
Twenty-six parents and children have joined together to pledge to practise their instruments every day for 100 days.
The families all have youngsters at the Music at Heart Studio, which uses the Suzuki Method of teaching music to pre-school children.
Teacher Heather Moger, who runs the school from her home in Minster Court, said: “One of the great strengths of the Suzuki method is that it encourages families to work together, with all members supporting one another – not only in music practice, but in all aspects of life.”
The parents and children all got together and signed a pledge with Heather to say they will play their instruments every day until April 22.
