IS YOUR society or club seeking a charity to support in 2014? If so you may like to consider at the needs of Yorkshire’s deaf children.
Many items of importance are not provided on the NHS, such as iPads with apps to help improve children’s understanding of language after their cochlear implant.
Musical instruments are also not supplied and the children love these sounds. Video equipment for record keeping of children’s progress and the renewing of audiology material is frequently needed.
I would appreciate donations of old badges, fishing memorabilia, kitchen items, jewellery, fountain pens, etc. These I take to auction and no charges are made. Every penny goes towards the needs mentioned, never into overheads.

Thanks to everyone who helped last year.
