TWO entertainment giants from the north east will clash on separate stages in York this weekend.
Party band Huge, fronted by Ian Donaghy, will be taking to the stage at The Grand Opera House on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, at the same time but across the city at the Theatre Royal, Berwick Kaler will be treading the boards once more in Aladdin And The Twankeys.
Berwick is a Sunderland fan and Ian a Newcastle United supporter. However, despite their footballing differences, both are committed to providing family entertainment and have been filling their respective venues for years.
Berwick’s Theatre Royal pantos are now in their 35th year and Huge have played the Opera House on 28 occasions.
