Members of the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir
JONTY CLARK’S letter of January 16 expressing enjoyment of the impromptu singing by some members of the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir in The Blue Bell pub last Monday evening was very gratifying.
While enjoying the hospitality of that pub on that night, the same silver-haired men (and some darker-haired ones!) can normally be found at about ten o’clock on any Monday evening giving their musical all in The Snickleway pub in Goodramgate.
They are always delighted to let such hair as they have down and to sing heartily, and an audience is always welcome.
