Ripon Cathedral is celebrating the restoration of its Harrison and Harrison organ with a weekend of music and a recital series.
On Friday, February 7 celebrated organist Olivier Latry – Organiste Titulaire of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris – will perform in the cathedral.
Ripon’s St Cecilia Orchestra will perform with Andrew Bryden on Saturday, February 8, with a programme of orchestral music in which the organ plays a significant role.
On Sunday, Feburary 9, the cathedral will welcome Bishop of Knaresborough the Right Rev James Bell for a Service of Rededication for the organ. Details of all concerts and ticket sales are on the Ripon Cathedral website riponcathedral.info
