The British Red Cross in Yorkshire is looking for runners to venture over and tackle the Greater Manchester Marathon.
The charity has guaranteed places in the marathon on Saturday, April 6, for runners who can pay the £35 entry fee and raise £300 in sponsorship. Teams are always welcome to enter it as a four-stage relay.
Max Newton, senior community fundraiser and runner said: “The whole atmosphere and race day experience is brilliant, with more than 20,000 people of all ages and abilities running to raise funds for charity.”
