DETECTIVES have released this E-fit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in York.
A 66-year-old man was letting his dog into the back garden of his home in Baildon Close, Acomb, at about 7am on Monday, January 6, when someone knocked at his front door.
Leaving the back door open, he went inside, and found a man in his living room who demanded money from him.
The man took cash from the house and a Patek Philippe watch, which has a square face and a shiny black strap, before leaving through the back door.
The man was of eastern European appearance, aged between 27 and 30 years old, about 5ft 9in tall with a stocky build, a fat face and dark, cropped hair with sideburns. He was wearing glasses and spoke with an eastern European accent.
Anyone who saw the man, or has any information, should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, email gemma.churchward@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
