Acomb Sports shaded a tense York Ladies White Rose Darts League division one tussle 4-3 at home to New York Club.
The hosts won the opening leg before Maureen Tindall and Den Fahey took the first pairs game, despite Astrid Tute including a 101 for Acomb. Acomb’s Julie Bond scored 100 in her pairs game with Barbara O’Donnell.
New York took the next two through Tindall and Rosie Blower, but Julie Bond and Tute prevailed in the last two for Sports.
King William went three down to The Ebor, Sarah Crake scoring 138 for William in the pairs, though Ebor took the game.
King William made sure of four points by winning the last four.
Collingwood went down 4-3 at home to Crescent ‘B’.
Collingwood’s best were Eileen Carter (133) and Gill Stannard (133), while tops for Crescent were Val Mackenzie (100) and Angie Hurst (121).
In division two, Crescent ‘A’ hosted Derwent Arms with Pam Husband and Milly Mountain the only winners for Crescent.
Crescent’s Elsie Blackburn hit a 116.
Caro Gilbert was Mitre’s only winner against Clarence, for whom Anita Redpath excelled with a scored of 121.
