CITY OF York Council is asking adults receiving care and services to share their views and experiences as part of a nationwide survey.
The Adults’ Social Care Survey, which will be sent out by local authorities across England and Wales over the next two months, aims to gain a better understanding of the experiences of people receiving care and support services.
It will focus on aspects such as the quality of life, health and well-being and levels of safety and security.
The questionnaire will be sent out to 1,300 people in York including adults living in residential/nursing care, those with learning disabilities living in the community, and adults receiving services in their own home.
Paul Edmondson-Jones, deputy chief executive and director of health & well-being, urged people to complete the survey.
