A YORK 1940s enthusiast is lending his services to a fundraising event for Cancer Research.
Murray Rose is to DJ at a vintage party being held at Sadberge village hall, near Darlington, on Saturday, February 1.
Murray and his authentic 1940s Jeep were in York yesterday promoting the event, which will raise money for Cancer Research UK and St Teresa’s Hospice, in Darlington.
The party is being organised by Cassie Cooper and family in memory of her aunt, Barbara Cooper.
It will include a canteen dance party, vintage cocktail bar, and performances by the Blitz Sisters as well as Murray’s DJ set.
Tickets cost £15 and are available from Cassie on cassieannecooper@googlemail.com
