Steve Middleton leads Harriers’ home in Brass Monkey Half Marathon
STEVE MIDDLETON was the first Thirsk & Sowerby Harrier home in the York Knavesmire Harriers’ Brass Monkey Half Marathon.
There were 1,446 finishers, with six of them Thirsk and Sowerby members. Middleton came home in 33rd place in a personal best time of one hour, 17 minutes 49 seconds.
Paul Atkinson was 300th in 1:31-59, David Fabrega finished 644th in 1:42-35, Alan Harman was 878th in 1:50-32, Sarah Burn came 960th in 1:52-39, and Steve Billings was 1,019th in 1:53-52.
Meanwhile, club training sessions are held at Thirsk School on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 7pm.
