A DRIVER suffered serious head injuries when his car crashed into a tree in North Yorkshire early today.
The silver Mercedes C-Class collided with a tree on Stockwell Road, near the junction with St Margaret’s Road in Knaresborough, at about 12.30am, and its driver, a local man in his 30s, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital. He also suffered leg injuries.
The Mercedes’ passenger, who is in his 20s and also from the local area, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with facial injuries. No other vehicles were involved and anybody with information should phone Traffic Constable Mark Mullins on 101 or email mark.mullins@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
