HARROGATE Town thrashed Thorpe United 13-1 to move three points clear at the top of the York FA Under-19s Football League.
The game was the only fixture to survive the bad weather last weekend and Harrogate’s win puts them ahead of unbeaten title rivals Dringhouses, who have three games in hand.
Brad Walker and Joe Davison netted hat-tricks for free-scoring Town, who have bagged 128 goals in their 17 games.
Dan Jones and Joe Goodsall grabbed two goals apiece and Lewis Pye got on the scoresheet to add to two own goals.
Kieran Latham got a consolation for fourth-placed Thorpe.
Harrogate travel to basement side Strensall tomorrow (1.30pm kick off), while Dringhouses host Acomb Athletic.
Third-placed Haxby Town are away to Rawcliffe, while Thorpe welcome Tockwith and Wigginton Grasshop
