THE deadline for parents and carers in York to have their say on the city’s childcare is drawing near.
More than 550 people have taken part in a City of York Council consultation, closing on January 31, aimed at finding out whether York has enough high-quality childcare and seeking views on its cost and availability, with the results being used to shape future provision.
The consultation is at yor-ok.org.uk/childcare or by phoning 01904 554444 or collecting a questionnaire from the reception of the council’s HQ.
More information is also available by emailing fis@york.gov.uk
