SIMON DYSON heads into the final round of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in Doha only four shots adrift of leaders Steve Webster and Rafa Cabrera-Bello.
The North Yorkshire golfer carded a one-under-par third round of 71 at Doha Golf Club and, added to opening rounds of 68 and 69, that left him in a tie for 15th place on eight under par.
Malton & Norton Golf Club star Dyson overcame a shaky start where he bogeyed the par-four second hole. Birdies at the par-four fourth hole and the short eighth hole took him to the turn in 35 strokes.
A second bogey at the par-four 15th was erased by a birdie three at the next hole.
Cabrera-Bello started the day with a two-shot lead and extended his advantage thanks to a birdie on the second, but he dropped two shots in the last six holes to card a disappointing 73.
In contrast, Webster started poorly and was two over par after five holes before playing the remaining 13 in four under to return a 70 and join Cabrera-Bello on 12 under par.
