A SENIOR official at York Museums Trust, who played a key role in a £2 million revamp of The Yorkshire Museum and in a forthcoming First World War exhibition at the Castle Museum, has departed.
A trust spokesman said Andrew Morrison, head curator at the trust, had left to become chief executive of The Leeds Library, a private library in Leeds.
Alison Bodley, curator of history, has been promoted to lead the new exhibition, called 1914: When The World Changed Forever. It will open on June 28, the 100th anniversary of Archduke Franz Ferdinand being assassinated.
