A WOMAN has today been arrested on suspicion of driving while nearly five times the legal drink-drive limit.
The 50-year-old was arrested at 4.10pm at a petrol station in Scalby Road, Scarborough.
Staff at the petrol station phoned police after the woman crashed into a petrol pump. No serious damage was caused to the car or the pump but police breathlaysed the woman.
North Yorkshire Police say her reading was 170 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
